The Tech Osaka Summit Executive Committee, comprising the City of Osaka, the Osaka Business Development Agency, the Umekita Future Innovation Organization (U-FINO), the Urban Innovation Institute, and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) Osaka Headquarters, will hold Tech Osaka Summit 2027, a global startup event, at Grand Front Osaka on January 26 (Tue) and 27 (Wed), 2027.
Event Overview:
- Business matching between startups and corporations, investors, and other partners
- An exhibition featuring approximately 150 startups and other organizations from Japan and abroad, centered on fields in which Osaka and the Kansai region have particular strengths: Bio/Life Science & Healthcare, Green Tech, and Digital
- Talk sessions featuring entrepreneurs, business leaders, researchers, and other speakers from Japan and abroad
- A pitch contest for seed- and early-stage startups, among other programs.
* General visitor registration is scheduled to open in late November.
* The event will provide support in both Japanese and English, including for the talk sessions. However, interpretation will not be provided for business matching meetings. Participants who require interpretation should make their own arrangements.
